The story of Ace Music Stands
As we say here in Yorkshire; if you can’t get what you need – make it yourself. Tired of lugging around heavy wooden music stands that used to trap my fingers, wreck my car, strain my back, get chipped, and damage things they crash into etc. Enough was enough. “We need a light-weight, smart stand that makes life easier,” we said.
Here we are today still making and supplying stands to customers around the world since 2009.
Since our launch, we’ve supplied stands to bands, orchestras, shows and teaching establishments around the world. We’ve equipped the BBC Big Band, Leeds College of Music, The Empress Orchestra and Michael Law’s Piccadilly Dance Orchestra. Our stands can be seen on-stage in famous venues such as The Blackpool Tower Ballroom, the Café de Paris (London) and Buckingham Palace garden parties and cruise ships to name just a few.
